the U.S. sending additional military assets to the region.

The Pentagon announcing Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is

deploying a fighter jet squadron to the Middle East, ordering the U.S.S.

Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to the region and directing additional

ballistic missile defense cruisers and

destroyers to U.S. Central Command and European Command. An amphibious ready group and a marine

expeditionary unit are already operating in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Pentagon says the orders are to improve the protection of U.S. forces in the region, support

the defense of Israel, and respond to various contingencies.

Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rose says the agency is still investigating

after the attempt on for President Trump's life last month in Pennsylvania. He says the counter-sniper on building with a gun. It is my understanding that personnel were not aware. They sail and

head a firearm until they heard gunshots. But Rose says they are making changes to protect people

in the future which includes working on radio technology to better communicate and they will be using drones.
