Force multiplied. I'm Angela Bavarro Fox News. The U.S. launching new retaliatory airstrikes against Iran today.

They attacked another ship in the Strait of Hormuz this morning, the M.T. Kiku. That's the name of the ship.

That ship was carrying about 200,000 barrels of oil, and so it could have been a disaster

in the Strait of Hormuz of a very dangerous situation. These are attack drones, one-way

attack drones that Iran and the IRGC have been descending towards these ships. I also learned that

Iran last night responded to the first round of U.S. airstrikes, that one hour of airstrikes with attacks of their own on U.S. forces in Bahrain.

So they did target a U.S. base in Bahrain.

The U.S. and Bahraini forces combined to shoot down nine Iranian one-way attack drones, I'm told.

No damage to or personnel injuries, according to a senior

U.S. official.

Now, this also comes after Israel and Lebanon signed a framework agreement, which Hezbollah's

leader is rejecting, describing it as a surrender to Israel.

One of the biggest sticking points surrounding a long-term

U.S.-Iran deal is the ongoing conflict involving Israeli forces and the Iranian-backed

militant group Hezbollah. Israel and Lebanon just signed a deal that would see the IDF pulled

their troops out of two areas in southern Lebanon. The idea is for Lebanese soldiers to take control over areas that are

currently being held by Israel. They believe that they actually own Lebanon, but Lebanon belongs to the

Lebanese people, not to the Iranian people. So it is about time that Lebanon will gain independence

and will assume full control of their territory. Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danan, tells Fox News.

It's a gradual process, but they have no motivation to stay in southern Lebanon.
