He will not rush a deal. I'm Lisa Lacerra, Fox News. That's what President Trump is saying about negotiations between the U.S. and Iran. He says the U.S. blockade is hurting Iran, and they're feeling the pressure.

They're not doing well economically, financially. They're not doing any business because of the blockade. They want to make a deal.

We have been speaking to them, but they don't even know who's leading the country. They're in turmoil.

And the president said he could end the conflict with Iran, but he wants what he called an everlasting

deal to prevent Iran from ever having a nuclear weapon. This as Lebanon and Israel agreed to extend a ceasefire.

Following a meeting here with Israeli and Lebanese ambassadors,

President Trump announced the ceasefire will be extended for three more weeks

with plans for Israel's prime minister and Lebanon's president to meet.

And the leaders will most likely be coming here during that time.

And I think when they do,

that's a very historic meeting. They have never, they haven't met for many, many years.

They've never met. Think of that. Lebanon and Israel have been negotiating an end to Israeli attacks on Hezbollah militants. Israeli troops have deployed inside Lebanon as part of that operation.

Boxes, Jared Halper, at the White House, President Trump says the U.S. will work with Lebanon

to protect her from Hezbollah. A U.S. soldier involved in the Nicholas Maduro raid is charged

with betting on the operation. Gannon Ken Van Dyke is charged with violating the Commodity Exchange

Act, wire fraud, and unlawful monetary transaction.

Federal prosecutors say the 38-year-old active-duty soldier in the U.S. Army was involved in the planning and execution of the operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro.

He's accused of opening an account on the prediction market site, Polymarket, in

December, using classified information to bet more than $30,000 that Maduro would be out by January.
