President Trump says U.S. forces destroyed military targets on an Iranian island that handles oil exports.

Warning that the oil infrastructure on Carg Island could be next.

He made the announcement on True Social before leaving for Florida for the weekend.

The Pentagon is sending the USS Tripoli, a marine amphibious ready group and the 31st Marine

Expeditionary Unit with about

2,500 U.S. Marines to the Middle East. The Tripoli is stationed out of Japan and would take about

two weeks to arrive in the Gulf. The Pentagon has a plan to keep the Strait of Hormuz open,

but it is slow-going work suppressing the threat posed by Iranian drones, fastboats, and mines.

A man later identified as Aiman Muhammad Ghazali was armed with a rifle and plowed into the building.

and several jugs of flammable liquid we believe to be gasoline, some of which has been

consumed in the fire.
