Coming up, Zach Wheeler, comes up short again. A bridesmaid, once again,

never the bride in the Cy Young voting. Not unexpected, but Zach Wheeler for the second time in

four years finishes runner up in the Sy Young voting. But we'll take a look at the at the voting itself.

It should have been much closer than it was. And a couple other Phillies got some down ballot votes as well. We're going to talk with Scott Lauber of the Philadelphia Inquirer with the

latest rumors and the stuff that he's hearing about the Phillies hot stove and some other

news on roster moves the Phillies made this week ahead of Rule 5 protections and 40-man roster

ads, and we'll go over some of the MLB qualifying

offered decisions that were made here this week as well.

But let's get into this Zach Wheeler, Cy Young voting.

Wheeler loses to the Atlanta Braves, Chris Sale, 198 to

130. This is not a surprising outcome, even if I do think it should have been a much closer

vote. Sale got 26 of the 30 first place votes. Wheeler got only four. Wheeler had 25

runner-up votes. So most of the writers believed it was Sale one,
