And so what do you mean, I should say, when you say liberal Catholicism, I know you say

progressive Catholicism in the title, but in the book you say liberal Catholicism, well,

what exactly do you mean by that?

Yeah, it's a very difficult word to define.

It's one of those things, what was it?

Was it the Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart who was talking about how you define

pornography and he said I know it when I see it right and it's kind of like when you

say well what is a liberal or a progressive Catholic.

I tend to notice two common threads,
