Welcome to syntax. Today, we're going to talk about accepting money on the internet. You're building an app and you need to start accepting money from people. What are your options? How do you even approach this type of thing? We are going to break it on down. I rewrote my whole checkout flow, maybe about six months ago. I was on Stripe. I still use Stripe, but how things are done were fairly different.

0:25.5

So I thought, like, let's break it down into all the different parts and all of your different

0:30.5

1:14.6

One, I like money.

1:16.3

Hey, I like accepting money.

1:18.0

And I like having money.

1:19.5

So like, therefore, it's something that you have to do in development.

1:22.7

If you are, you know,

1:24.4

having a SaaS or product or an app of any kind that you want to restrict

1:28.2

access to, or if you want to keep it running because, hey, your services cost money.

1:33.1

And if you're the type of person who uses a lot of services to build your app, your app's going to

1:37.6

cost even more money.
