Your voice is necessary because God strategically places people to influence culture from the inside.

I remember a few years ago, my husband and I, we were at a personal development event.

And I was sitting in that chair in this massive auditorium with thousands of people,

journal in my hand, pen ready to write and scribble, and tears running down my face and a huge

lump in my throat. Because I was being asked to write down what God was calling me to do.

And I wasn't hearing anything.

People were scribbling furiously all around me.

And I felt like I had this huge block inside.

Like what is wrong with me, that I'm not hearing what God wants me to do.

That I don't fully understand what the next right step is.

I had this ache inside of me. I knew God was calling me to do that I don't fully understand what the next right step is. I had this ache inside of me.

I knew God was calling me to something more than just doing the same old thing and trying to

squeeze in, you know, my faith and my motherhood and my marriage and stuff all around the edges.

But I didn't have the full picture. And I didn't have God's business plan for me yet.

And truthfully, I didn't have God's business plan for me yet and truthfully I didn't even

know what the next step should even look like but I just couldn't shake the feeling that God had

a dream a bigger dream and that it wasn't meant to stay hidden and I started started to dive in. I started to unravel. I started

to journal. I started to seek. I started to invest in myself in the different areas in which I needed

coaching and I needed guidance. I started to get serious about renewing my mind. And if you fast

forward to today, friend, I am a true living, walking, breathing testimony to how God

will use ordinary people with ordinary skills.

And hi, I'm a failure.
