I'm super excited you decide to hang out with me today for a little bit.

Last week on the show I was talking all about the dating disaster called ghosting and really

getting into how can you not be ghosted what are the signs and

symptoms that someone might be about to ghost you but as a psychotherapist of

course I couldn't just leave it there because what is the implication

psychologically of someone who is ghosting of someone who is ending a relationship short and long term and you guys I had all of

these people email me after that show sharing that they had been ghosted

multiple times,

and I had more than five emails come in from women

who had people and relationships with them.

One was an 18-month relationship where she lived with him. She came home and all of his

stuff was out of their house. Like he just left never to be heard from. Another one where they were supposed to go on vacation. They were together for nine months and the guy didn't show up as they were meeting at the airport to go on vacation. She called his family. It was just so brutal.

And I can't imagine, well I did imagine, which is why I did a bunch of research, but

how is it that in your mind the mind is such an amazing thing but that you can organize

it that it's easier better less painful to make a choice that you're going to have to run away from for the rest

of your life.
