set goals. Real quick, if you set a goal back in January and you've forgotten about your 2020 goal

or you just completely let go of your 2020 goal because of our current circumstances and conditions in the world,

I want to encourage you to take back that goal, to take ownership over that goal again, to reclaim it,

because what most people find when it comes to achieving their goals is the goal happens in a way that they never thought it would happen.

They thought it was going to happen one way and it happened a completely different way. And so, know that and in knowing that,

know that you can still achieve your goal even though we're going through what we're going through.

You just have to own it, you just have to claim it and you just have to keep moving toward it. Here's Zig.

As we look at this segment of personal growth, we're going to be talking about the fact that we've all got to have goals in life.

Most of us you see are very much like the soul boy down home. His wife sent him downtown to buy a hammer.

He came home and she said, honey, you didn't cut the end of it all. He said, you didn't tell me to. She said, well, I thought you knew we always cut the end of the hammer off and he said, why?

She said, well, mother always cuts the end of the hammer off. He said, well, mom is back in the kitchen.

Let's go back to her and ask her, so the other one of the kitchen said, mama, how come you cut the end of the hammer off?

She said, I always cut the end of the hammer off because my mama cuts the end of the hammer off.

So, those boys said, well, let's solve this three generation mystery right now. They got on the phone long distance and call grandma and they said, grandma, how come you cut the end of the hammer off?

She said, I cut the end of the hammer off because my roaster is too small.

Now grandma had a reason for cutting the end of the hammer off. But the question is, do you have a reason?

The reality is that 97% of the people in our society do not have clearly defined written down goals for their lives.

Now, the four basic reasons they don't have goals and the first reason actually is because of fear, spelled, of course, F-E-A-R.
