Summary

In 2010, an elite student and gifted athlete at the University of Virginia became the face of domestic abuse on college campuses. Yeardley Love played lacrosse, and so did her boyfriend, George Huguely V. The culture of lacrosse, with exceptionally close relationships between both teams, as well as the culture of drinking on college campuses, may have caused Yeardley’s friends and teammates to not see what was really happening. Yeardley didn’t even really understand it herself.
