Sure, I am married to my husband Steve who is also a therapist and I have five amazing children from the ages of 13 to 23 and

My husband and I own a group practice here in crystal lake, Illinois, and then I also work for the Eleanor Center as a

And just love doing that work. So that's a little bit about me

This time which we'll get to in a moment, but to begin with let's just talk a bit about like how you got interested in story in general and your story in particular

So how did you first get interested in this whole notion of story?

What's interesting is I actually when I first went away to college I

actually went in with the intention of having a

degree in journalism

What my heart's desire was to actually listen to other people's stories and write about them

ironically enough I started taking more and more psych classes

That were new to me and learning about like all this amazing stuff about like why we do the things we do and

Eventually my professor called me in his office and said hey, I just want to let you know

You have way more psych classes than you actually have journalism classes
