Welcome to Beyond the Ring. This is Dale Hummel, along with co-star,

Ryan Rash. Merry Christmas. It is going to be a Merry Christmas, don't you think? I'm not

real sure, but I'm hoping so. It will be. So we have several things to discuss today, but obviously

we're going to start off with some very positive rainbows and

unicorns, Ryan, and the current events. I just don't know what that's going to be. Yeah, where are those?

Amacron. I think that's a positive because it's becoming the alpha variant and it appears to be

like a cold. So we can be thankful for that. There was one death, I believe, in Houston with

somebody that had underlying conditions. So I don't know, I don't know how much Amacron played a role

in that. But the honest, good news, sincerely good news is it appears that this is a more

infectious variant, but less pathogenic. There's less

symptoms, less severity of symptoms. So it appears to replicate in the upper respiratory path,

whereas early strains went into the lower lungs. That obviously caused a lot of problems. So

there's no question. There'll be more variance. There will likely be

more contagious than even this one or possibly, but they're also likely to be less symptomatic in

terms of how severe the symptoms are, I should say. So that is a positive note, I believe.

It's positive that more people are getting rona. More people are, if they're going to get rona, it's going to be something far less serious.
