Django is a very popular Python Web framework.

One of the reasons is you have these many building blocks to drop in for large sections of your application.

Need a full-on admin editor backend?

There's a few lines of code and boom, you have a basic table editor.

This appeals to many people.

But for those of us, myself included, who appreciate lightweight frameworks where you choose just what's included

and piece together our apps from best-to-breed components, can find this a turnoff.

to dispel the myth that Django apps have to be built out of large building blocks.
