Okay. Here we go.

This is going to be a little bit different episode than what I've ever done in the past.

Today I have no guests.

I have no friends sitting here drinking beers with me.

This is just going to be me going through a little bit in-depth on the gear that I'm using this season.

I wanted to do a in-depth podcast for a while about layers.

And this weekend, I was gone on a four-day, three-night backpacking hunt, and everything's kind of fresh in my head about what I'm using and why I'm using,

what did and didn't work.

And every time I try to do a layering one and I have the guys over, we end up getting

sidetracked and I just thought this would be an opportunity for me to maybe go a little

more in depth on it. I don't have a lot of time today, but I wanted to sit down, try to get this done,

and get it out. So, yes, I was up in Northern Michigan this weekend, and the weather was,

the weather changed a lot. When I got up there, let's there see I left here at 4 a.m. Friday morning and so when I got up there around lunch on Friday it was mid-30s and sunny pretty nice and the first thing I had to do was to hike in and set up my

camp so I'm gonna start here at the top with layers because that'll probably be the

longest portion of this that I'm going to go through.

I think it has the most to talk about.

I'm running gear from pretty much every company out there.

What it comes down to, to me what works together as a system, what fits for my specific needs.

And I really couldn't see a situation where I would have the ability to rep for just one company
