I had been so deep in what I call the I'll be happy when syndrome of like once I get on

Broadway then I will be happy once I get on Broadway then I will be happy and I was just

like single focus this is the dream this is where the pot of gold lives and then I get my Broadway debut it's 42nd Street which if you've ever seen the show I mean it is just like Broadway I mean it is gold and stairs and

tap shoes and lights it is as Broadway as it gets and three weeks later I

remember just like having a full breakdown in my kitchen because I didn't know what to work towards.

Like I was like, what's next? I had been working so hard since I was eight years old to get to this thing and then I got the thing but I didn't know what to work towards and so I felt a little lost and I you're only doing a show two and a half hours a day so it's like what do you do with the rest of your time and day?

I just felt a little lost.

And so I learned at a pretty young age that I was more interested in the happiness of pursuit

than I was the pursuit of happiness.

I didn't really get that at the time.

I went a few more years of next job, next boyfriend, next zero,

but if I look back that was the first,
