Through the suffering of Israel, God would demonstrate his almighty power and glory, not just to claim and deepen the faith of his people,

but to display his glory to Egypt to you the words of Exodus.

And my title for this study is things change. Oh, do they change? I want to read for you,

Exodus 1 through 11. These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob,

each with his household, Rubin, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Isikar, Zebulin, and Benjamin,

Dan and Naftali, Gad, and Asher. All the descendants of Jacob were 70 persons. Joseph was already

in Egypt. Then Joseph died, and all of his brothers and all of that generation. But the people of

increased greatly. They multiplied and grew exceedingly strong, so the land was filled with them.
