Kicking things off with Carnival Cruise Line getting kind of new cruise ships this month.

More accurately, two new to Carnival Cruise Line ships, I think, because this is sort of a

weird story. It involves a cruise line division going away and her ships being transferred,

and yet in the grand scheme of things, not much is changing at all.

So years ago, and, you know, I may get some of these details wrong because it's a very

complicated history, to be quite honest, but Carnival Corporation bought P&O Princess

Cruises, and part of that eventually was broken off to be P&O Australia.

Until recently, P&O Australia had three ships.

Now, one of those ships, the Pacific Explorer, has been sold to Resorts World and will be sailing over in Asia.

The other two ships, the Pacific Adventure and the Pacific Encounter, are being absorbed into Carnival Cruise Line,

sort of the same way they did with the two Costa ships a year or so ago.
