Our final hot prospect of the week podcast. And we are doing a review of the entire season.

And we're going to couch it and such that we're looking for

basically the minor league player of the year so I've got 10 hitters and five pitchers. Most of

these guys are famous because well they were. They were very good this year.

I think we've talked about nearly every one of these in one of our podcast.

So I think it would be a good review and just honoring those guys that just absolutely shoved it this year.

So the way I've constructed it, we've definitely got who I consider the player of the year, both hitting and pitching, and then nine randomly put together hitter names and four additional pitcher names.

I could have had a lot more guys, particularly a lot more pitchers, but I just felt like I had to stop it somewhere. So without further ado, I'm going to give you the player of the year. This is my first

time doing this. Maybe I should build up to it. Maybe I should have ordered them 10 through 1. But I

decided just to be done with it, tell you who I think the player of the year is.

And there's really no, I mean, there's always, you can always make an argument for other guys.

But Bobby Witt Jr. was, I mean, remarkable.

I mean, just remarkable.

I've got all of their stat lines up here.

And then an narrative that I just wrote about each one of them that I'll

refer to so which in your started off in double a finished in triple a get this 33 home runs

this was as of I think yesterday so they're the triple A guys are still, so there could be more.

So 33 home runs across both levels, 29 stolen bases.

Here's the remarkable thing.

He had 279 plate appearances in AA, 270 plate appearances in AAA,

pretty much had the same power and the same stolen base
