writer podcast. I'm Julie Bogart, creator of Brave Writer and

host of this podcast. Season five has been particularly special to me and

Apparently that advice that support those ideas have produced real fruit in their lives.

Today's episode is special because we are interviewing a group of six mothers.

These are friends who live together in Colorado Springs,

Colorado. Their names are Mandy, G.G. Melissa, Kelly, Julie, and one who wishes to remain anonymous.

These six friends share the joys and struggles of homeschooling together.

The questions they asked me are a perfect way to end the season.

They ask things like, how do you help a struggling writer or reader?

How can we support a big impractical passion? What can be done when a child

enjoys a co-op for the social reasons but hates all of the assigned work. And finally, perhaps the most

poignant and challenging question of the season, how can you continue to homeschool

when you're recovering from family dysfunction and childhood trauma.
