Hey everyone and welcome back to Big Mad True Crime where we get Big Mad over True Crime.

I'm your host Heather Ashley and today's episode is a big update on the murder of Egypt Covington.

For those of you who are newer listeners, Egypt's case is when we did a four part series on in 2020.

Egypt Covington was shot and killed in her own home on June 22nd, 2017,

and her case went unsolved for more than three years before the Michigan State Police took it over in August of 2020,

and solved it in three months.

While we knew the names of the three people charged with her murder, we didn't know much else.

Until this week when they had a two and a half day preliminary exam.

Egypt was an incredible human being and she deserves the justice which is finally happening after more than three years.
