This is episode 86.

And so far today, I have not contracted Ebola.

It is early.

Strange things could happen.

Just saying, as of right now, I'm okay. Hope you are too. I am definitely going to get into this Ebola scare because it feeds right into and thank all of you who've been tweeting and responding to my last rant a couple of years ago. You remember I talked about the swine flu and the bird flu and

a little bit of mad cow. We had the killer bees, some anthrax, and let's see, tomatoes were

poisonous for a while and I think spinach was going to kill us. So now Ebola has joined my list

of things that we're going to die from any day now.

Literally, as you're listening to this, I may have lost one or two of you. I don't know.

But anyway, we're going to get into that. This is a very interesting time. It is now October.

We're about a month away from the midterm elections all across America.

Congressman and senators are going to be fighting to maintain their seats in Congress or the Senate or perhaps there'll be switches.

The parties are in a big fight for power. Obviously, the Republicans want to maintain control of the House

and gain control of the Senate so that they can say no to Obama even more. And the Democrats,

well, they're going to do what the Democrats are going to do. They're going to lay around and

hope nothing changes while they fight with each other against an organized Republican army.

But anyway, it's very interesting what's taking place in these debates and fights, particularly

on social issues, because as we all know, if you've been alive for the past 12 years, if not longer, the Republicans have just

definitely stated their stance on all social issues. They're against gay marriage, they are
