Welcome to another episode of Sincerely Fortune. It's Fortune and Ginger. Oh, she didn't even let me introduce her.

She was ready to go. I am so ready. It's been too long since I've been on here.

Too long. She is a podcast master now and I could not keep her off the microphone any longer.

Pretty exciting stuff. So mom, how have you been doing? I think it's been a month, two months since

the podcast checked in. I luckily have talked to you more than that. I've been fine and I will give

you a little heads up. Fortune and I've been talking about a book review not this time but

something to look forward to. I look forward to it. I hope you will too.

Ginger's favorites. What do you have a publicist now? Hey, that's an idea. I like that. Oh, and I do

have a request to make. Okay. I am looking for recipes for candy apples. I absolutely love Halloween.

This is October. Halloween is coming and I have some great apples from the North Carolina mountains.

But I need a good recipe. I've been looking online but I've wanted you to know that if any of you

have a good easy recipe for candy apples, I guess caramel, please look for you now quickly because I'm

just in one of those cooking modes. I love that you think that dipping an apple in caramel is

cooking. That's probably all the cooking I'll do. Actually, a friend did give me a recipe for apples

made with of course butter and crescent rolls that she says is wonderful. So some are going that way

but the others are just your great old-fashioned candy apples and we'll dip them in pecans and

anything we want to dip them in is so exciting. Oh my gosh. You know, leave it to a southerner to take

a healthy item and just cover it in sugar. Well, who wants just an apple?
