They explore how women are taught to use their bodies as currency—and what happens when you stop. Krista shares how her body transformation changed her dating life, while Lindsey opens up about pregnancy, identity shifts, and learning to release control.  K+L dive into intuitive eating, body acceptance, nervous system regulation, and learning your unique blueprint for wellness. Hello and welcome to almost 30.

0:14.8

Hi everybody, welcome to the show.

0:16.5

Hello, Lindsay and Krista.

0:18.4

Not 30, but you can be whoever you are.

0:21.9

Just want to make that clear.

0:22.3

Yeah.

0:23.7

Why don't you guess?

0:36.8

You can reply on YouTube. Just kidding. When I told you that, there was like we were out one time with my friends and these guys were talking to us. And we were like, they were like, how old are you guys? And we're like, guess. They're like, we know you're middle age because you've asked us to guess.

0:38.8

Middle age.

0:40.1

Middle age is crazy.

0:38.1

I rebuke that. I was like, I'm 20.

0:47.1

It's such a weird. I'm at whatever age you want to say I am. I feel like I'll feel young for a very long time.

0:53.2

Yeah, I know. I agree. I think there's this other guy that I dated, and he's like, oh, I thought you were like 28, and then I started talking to you. And it reminded me about the voice and how you talk. It's like, people are so concerned about what they look like, but that's not really how people perceive to know who you are. Like you could look how you look and I have a judgment about that, but as soon as you open your mouth and talk, that's actually how I'm going to make a judgment about you or an assumption about you. 100%. So it doesn't even really matter what you actually look like with how old you are. Like, I've met people that I feel like speak, and I'm like, you're 12. Watching love is blind recently.

1:28.9

I know you've been on it too, but like I'm always so surprised, like what I consider the good looking ones and then they open their mouth.

1:39.2

And I'm like, gosh, darn it.

1:41.7

It's crazy.

1:42.9

Either they're like a dead person and they're not dynamic or interesting or they're not on their voice.

1:52.2

Totally.

1:52.7

So maybe they have a little bit higher pitch or.

1:56.5

Oh my gosh, I know.

1:57.4

They're just like talk about the weirdest stuff and have kind of like that fratty persona. Yes. It's very bizarre. Yeah. Yeah. On this latest season we were saying, I'm like, Vic just has this. Kills. He kills it. Angel. That is a quality man, but he's a man of God. Man of God. And just a man. Yeah, he's a man. I agree with that statement. Who else is a quality man, but he's man of God. Man of God.

2:18.2

And just a man.
