0:00.0	Welcome to Syntax. This is our 2024, a year in review. We're going to take a look back at what happened this year in web development in general. What did we do as a podcast? And most importantly, we're going through our predictions. So every year, at the beginning of the year, we predict what will happen. And we'll take a look at
0:22.7	if we got some of those very, very wrong. And some of them, we were bang on. So I'm excited to
0:28.2	get into that. My name is Wes. I'm a developer from Canada with me. As always, Scott, how
0:32.7	you doing, Scott? Oh, hey, man, I'm doing good. Right now at our house, this is the second week in less than a month where we have some kind of stomach bug going around.
0:44.6	First, it was one kid, and we all kind of came out unscathed, if not for a little, like, sore tummies and stuff.
0:51.3	But, man, we got a whole other, a whole different stomach bug,
0:56.3	you know, probably came from a birthday party or something we took our kids to. And it is,
1:02.4	it is tough. It is tough to have to wake up to clean up after like kids several, several nights.
1:10.1	It is rough. It is rough. So, so yeah I'm feeling a little bit I'm
1:13.8	feeling that that aspect of it but hey I'm here I'm doing good we recently got back from a couple
1:19.6	of conferences and I'm going to Disney soon so it's just like I'm feeling in a good place good way
1:27.4	to cap off the end of the year right how you feeling I'm feeling in a good place. Good way to cap off the end of the year, right?
1:29.1	How are you feeling?
1:30.4	I'm feeling great.
1:31.5	I'm excited for 2025 and excited for all stuff.
1:35.8	We have planned.
1:36.5	Actually, maybe let's talk about that right then and there is we have some changes coming
1:41.7	to the syntax lineup, not the lineup. The lineup. This is the types of
1:47.2	content we are creating. So we are going to go down from three podcasts a week, down to two a week.
1:54.3	And the podcasts are going to be, traditionally what we do is we do a hasty on Monday, a tasty on Wednesday, and a guest on
2:02.6	Friday. What we're going to do now is simply make the podcast as long as it needs to be for the
2:09.2	content and not stick to a specific type on every single day. So you can look forward to that.
