The show that almost didn't happen just like literally hours ago, got back from Vegas

after American Airlines had a little bit of a meltdown a couple of days ago and pushed

the flights all around.

But hey, haven't missed a Thursday in almost 16 years and don't plan on it

yet. So on this episode, we're going to have Kurt. He returned from Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas.

It was a 12-night cruise over in the UK and he's here to talk all about it. How you doing, Kurt?

Hey, I'm good, Doug. How are you? Good, bud. Are you like double, triple diamond status with Royal Caribbean at this point? Because you always have these really long sailings with them. I would think so, but I am not. I am still diamond. I'm making my way towards Diamond Plus. You're over in Maryland, and you had to cross the ditch to sail this one. But before we get there, we'll take a

couple of steps back. Give me some pre-cruced thoughts. What made you want to sail this voyage out of

Southampton? Well, last year we did the med, and that was so port intensive that it was just

exhausting. And I saw this trip, and it had a lot of sea days in comparison to that.

So it was 12 nights.

I think there were four sea days.

So there was a nice sprinkling in there.

And I'd never really thought about the canaries.

I just kind of stumbled on it.

And then I started researching and it looked pretty interesting.

You make your way over to the UK.

You do a couple of pre-cruised days.
