Matyewski author of the debut novel, All Night Pharmacy.

You know, I wrote the first line of this novel almost exactly as it was, which is

spending time with my sister Debbie, was like buying acid off a guy you met on the bus.

And I wrote that sentence and I thought, like, who's talking?

Like, I kind of want to see how the rest of their day is going to unfold.

And I just kind of let that voice keep talking.

And, you know, through trying to capture some of that LA weirdness that I grew up with,
