Summary

A listener left a comment on my website asking for my thoughts on the new Beatles song which was released last week, and I was happy to ramble about it for 45 mins. Listen to hear me give my thoughts and tell several stories related to what is being described as the last Beatles song.

I talk for about 10 minutes about burning down my apartment, and my thoughts on the content I make for this podcast and then start talking about The Beatles until the end of the episode. To skip straight to the Beatles bit, go forward to about 12 minutes.

Hello listeners welcome to this new episode so this one is a rambling episode which

0:04.4

means it's just me talking on my own in a spontaneous way most of the episode is

0:09.8

me talking about the new Beatles song, which is called now and then, and you'll hear me telling

0:15.8

some stories in relation to the song, stories that explain how the song was created, but

0:21.6

also stories about the sort of significance or meaning of the song,

0:27.4

and how it fits into the Beatles story as a whole.

0:30.9

If you want to just skip straight to the Beatles stuff, then I would say skip

0:35.4

forwards by about 12 minutes because I don't actually start talking about the Beatles

0:40.6

until about 12 minutes into the episode and the rest of it is me talking about why

0:46.2

I had to stay at home so that I didn't burn the apartment down and other things like that. So there's a bit of waffling from me about other things

0:56.0

for about 10 minutes or so at the top of the episode, but then I do get into the

1:00.4

Beatles stuff after about 10 minutes. I don't know which one you're more

1:04.4

interested in really, whether you're more interested in hearing me worry

1:08.6

about setting fire to my kitchen and talking about my process for making podcast episodes or if you're

1:16.8

more interested in the Beatles. I mean there'll be some people who just want the Beatles stuff

1:20.9

and some people who are more interested in in the other stuff.

1:24.8

But anyway if you want just the Beatles skip forward by about 12 minutes.

1:29.0

Okay?

1:30.0

Right.

1:31.0

So let's have the jingle now and we can start properly and here we go.

1:33.2
