I have a couple of birthdays among our new adventurers. But I'll wait until more of us are here.

Up Happy Birthday. I was just going to say Danielle that we have a couple of birthdays.

Yours was yesterday. So Happy Birthday to you. Oh, mine was actually on the 10th. I just took the Ken off.

I celebrate my birthday for like five days to a month.

Yes. And also today and potentially for the next four weeks is George Hans birthday. So Happy Birthday.

I was going to wait for Wage to be here. But before we get started and after the birthday wishes I want to say

that anybody who said before the election that the Democrats were going to lose the house very badly and probably lose the Senate owes me a spa day.

And me. Oh shit.

I mean, really like who needed the extra level of stress. So how many spa days are you owed now Mary?

I think I think I have enough spa days to last me until I die, which will be like when I'm 342.

I love that. I have quite a few.

So today I want to look at two different things.

Sort of what led up to this election and what what we're going to be dealing with going forward.

So I want everybody to imagine what this election would have looked like.

If everybody who has the right to vote was allowed to vote. If the media had informed people about the reasons for high gas prices and inflation, for example, instead of focusing on the horse race and the polls.

Many of which we now know were just either bad or fake.

Right wing garbage. If Americans had a deeper understanding of what democracy is and what the effects of living in a fascist autocracy would have on our day to day lives.

Again, if the interactions and seditionists still serving in government had been held accountable.

If the Democratic Party had invested sufficiently in states like Wisconsin Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, Kentucky.
