But if the manufacturer of your airplane doesn't specify landing data at less than max gross weight,

you have one more tool that you can use.

And the FAA provided this guidance in their on landings bulletin, which I mentioned before.

And it's a PDF in my Aviation News Talk app that you can find the app store.

And this gives guidance as to how much you can reduce landing speed at lower weights.

The example they give is that if your aircraft is 20% below gross weight,

then you can reduce your landing speed by half of that or 10%.
