Hello everyone, welcome to Relax the Podcast. I'm your host, queen Balinger, and unfortunately

for you guys. Today we are not joined by the incredible, the handsome, the talented,

the perfect Mr. Eric Stocklin. Because this episode is a surprise for Eric, my lovey,

my bestie. I am on tour right now. If you're watching this episode, you'll see that I am currently

in a hotel room. I am in Atlanta. And because I'm on tour, sometimes when I do these little

weekend tour gigs, Eric and I have to frantically film the podcast like on a Monday or Tuesday,

and that doesn't give us a lot of time to send it over to our producers, lash editor,

extraordinaire, to get it all ready to be uploaded by Wednesday. And so it's kind of frantic

and hectic when we have to record it on a Monday. And you guys, the week that you're listening

to this podcast episode is Eric's birthday. That's right. It's a very big, exciting, important

birthday. And this is his birthday week. And I thought it would be a fun way to start

off his birthday week. If I got home from my little tour, I'm doing shows in Atlanta

and DC this weekend. If I got home and he thinks, I'm going to get home and I get home,

I get to say hi to the kids and then we're immediately going to have to record the podcast.

But I think it'd be a fun little surprise to get home. And he's like, okay, we've got

to record the podcast. And I'm going to be like, actually, no, we're going to go have a

family day or like, let's go on a date or something. I already did it and surprise him.

And not only that, I want to surprise him with an episode that's all about him and how

awesome he is because it's his birthday week. So I wanted to celebrate him in this episode.
