So throughout 2025, our show traveled the country, through a live event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the splendid table, but we saved our hometown, the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, for last.

So on December 5th, just days away from our birthday, we pulled back up to the place that once let an enterprising

producer named Sally Slift and a cooking teacher and cookbook author named Lynn Rosetto

Casper start what at the time seemed like a truly bizarre thing, a radio show about food.

But the cities embraced it, and 30 years later, here we are.

So we wanted to get back there, but not just to reminisce,

but because the Twin Cities really have one of the most exciting food scenes in the country.

So every time I'm there, I have delicious meals that show me something.

I never knew about food.
