My name's Ali Maxwell, alongside me, George Ehrlich.

We love the EFL.

We'd like to talk about the EFL if you'll let us for the next 45 minutes or so.

It was another weekend of interesting, surprising and in many cases,

unpredictable results. And that's across all three divisions. So each of them showing different

themes and different narratives at this stage, League 2, for example, just unbelievably hard to pick,

hard to work out who's good, really, apart from

Lincoln and maybe some others. But we're going to try and wade through that and pick through

some of the other teams that we want to talk about in League one. Well, is there a big four? Is there

a big six? Is there only a big two? That's also going to be up for discussion. But we'll

start in the championship.

We're going to talk about a couple of teams across that division.

We're going to start with Leeds in Birmingham at Ellen Road on Saturday because this, I suppose,

George was one of the most surprising results of the weekend.

Birmingham, with their first win in the season at Ellen Road, the league leaders, still

the league leaders, leads, but took a bit of a hit there. How impressed where we were

Birmingham, disappointed with Leeds, where does the pendulum swing? It's a frustrating one for me,

having on the podcast midweek, the betting podcast, tipped up leads, despite having expressed concern or season

if they're as good as their results suggested, and afterwards spoken quite a lot about saying

that Birmingham were probably better than their results suggested. Do you think you were
