When I was very young, I will tell you, I want no part of sex crimes prosecutions.

I think they're vitally important hats off to those that do it, but I remember I was

second-chairing a sex crimes prosecutor who's tremendous, the first assistant there.

And it was early on and the guy was a police officer.

And when the jury acquitted the guy, he's a swearing match, you know, I didn't do it.

He comes in as a detective and I never did this stuff.

When we came back and I see that kid's eyes fill up with tears and back in the victim

witness room and he said, are they saying it didn't happen?

And we're just, you know, I mean, what do you say to that?

And he was, I don't know, about 10 years old and he said, I don't care, I don't want

to see him again in his eyes or he's just devastated.

And I hated that.
