I'm working on how to not be afraid of doing something new I've never done. Like last year,

remember, I was really afraid of public speaking and that was a thing God was moving me into.

And so that was a business meeting I had to have with God. Like, I am terrified of this thing

you're calling me to do. Most Christian entrepreneurs start with good intentions.

We want to honor God with our business,

but the big question is, are we truly doing business with God? Or are we just asking him to bless

what we've already decided? The Bible's filled with wisdom on stewardship, leadership,

and building wealth with integrity.

But if you're like me, sometimes we separate our faith from our business, from our strategy,

from our intentionality. And God never intended for us to run our businesses alone. Proverbs 16.3.

Commit your actions to the Lord and your plans will succeed. What if we partnered with God

in leadership of our companies? What if we had business meetings that started with prayer before

planning? What if our sales process was driven by service not striving? What if our marketing

strategy came from divine wisdom instead of trends? Well, I think all of this can be possible for you

if you begin having business meetings with God. I started doing this years ago after discovering that I

could not run my business myself,

it ended up in anxiety, stress, chaos, addiction to my phone, and running my business in all the

wrong places and all the wrong ways. And after surrendering, truly surrendering my online

business to God in 2016 after I had my breakdown year, which y'all have heard of,

my Britney Spears year, you know when she's hitting the car with the umbrella, like the whole,

like we're going to have a minute here type of year. I decided I was going to have business

meetings with God. And this looks different, obviously, based on where you are in your business, on your faith walk.
