Proverbs chapter 9 verse 13 says the woman folly is loud.

She is seductive and knows nothing. Like three descriptions there of folly as contrasted with wisdom, don't miss them.

Like first, folly is loud.

Like there is so much noise coming from folly around us in the world, loud. You see and hear folly, I see and hear folly,

I see and hear folly, foolishness, that which is not wise, like it's all around us.

It's in what we are scrolling through on our phones, so much foolishness.

It's in what we talk about.

It's in what we hear in conversations all around us in the world. It's in what we see advertised.

It's what we see promoted as good and right and satisfying.

It's folly, it's loud, it's all around us,

its noise is everywhere.

So that's one.

Two, it is seductive.

Meaning it draws us in.

Foolishness is not repulsive to us.

It is seductive to us. It allures us. It entraps us. Not because it says like foolishness doesn't announce,

here's foolishness, come after this.

It says, here's that which is good.

Here's that a way that is right.

Here's a way that is pleasing.

Here's something that will satisfy.
