For the majority of my life, I was under the impression that I got my period and that was it. I had no idea about the four phases of the menstrual cycle and how those phases affect our body. Recently I've been learning more about the menstrual cycle as well as cycle syncing and I wanted to share what I've learned so far with you! I also share my experience with birth control, my thoughts on periods and my period care essentials.

So over the last few months, I've been seeing a lot of videos on my 4U page talking about the menstrual cycle.

And when I first started seeing these videos, I was taking back because I was so unaware of the cycle.

I obviously knew about your period and about ovulation.

But I didn't know about the full cycle and what's actually happening to your body throughout the month.

I mean, I haven't been in school for almost 10 years, so I don't remember much.

But I do know that we're not taught about our bodies, at least not in full detail or to any extent

that would help us understand what's going on, what's normal, or anything like that.

I remember being taught what a period is, but that's it.

And there's so much more to it.

The education system is lacking in so many different areas when it comes to women and what we should know about our bodies.

But today, I want to talk about our cycle and how we can work with it to make our lives feel less chaotic or less stressful.
