this one many times over and guys really he should be in bed now but he really really wanted to record for all of you so thanks Brett

for being here but I don't think I was trying to go for a pun I literally was just

hitting it on its head we're talking about oral arguments today.

Specifically, what's, you know,

we all know that in Delphi, the Indiana Supreme Court

has set oral argument for the former defense counsel's motion

basically to mandamus the district court judge to put them back on the case. They were

removed previously for gross negligence.

And they had submitted papers, meaning they submitted a brief.

The state responded, as well as the judge responded and now there's oral argument.

What does this mean?

What, you know, what are the standards to have an oral argument?

What's going to happen at oral argument?

Does this mean that the former defense

counsel are definitely going to be reinstated or they're definitely not going to be reinstated?

Hopefully today we can answer all of those questions and show you how kind of the procedure of oral arguments work to demystify the process and we don't have a crystal ball but we'll give you kind of some thoughts on what we think may happen on January 18th

when the Indiana Supreme Court has set oral argument in this case.
