Live or Just Prospect podcast. It is July 12th, Monday at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

I usually do not work on Monday. Take Monday off because Tim and I, you know, spend a good

chunk of our time on Sunday doing our podcast, researching it, writing it, etc.

So I usually take Monday off, but with the minor leagues having two of their signature

events of the year, the futures game,

and more importantly, the Rule 4 draft, otherwise known as the amateur draft,

with the first round, first and second round, but with all of the impact performers,

usually in those first two rounds, I needed to research, write about, and record a

podcast to get that information out. Plus, you guys are asking about that information, and I'm

trying to be as timely as I can with the data and what I've learned and what I've observed.

So it's going to be a relatively meaty podcast for today.

First, we're going to talk about the futures game.

And then we'll talk about my board from a draft standpoint.

And I have ranked 15 players, just the first round, if you will,

in a 15-team rookie draft, supplemental draft draft and maybe where I might take these players.

I will do more as time permits, but I wanted to get just these first 15 out that first round

out.

So I'll try to commit doing maybe the second round a little bit later on in the summertime.

I do realize that some of you have supplemental drafts shortly after the real draft.

So hopefully it's after all these guys sign.

Usually most of the first and second round guys do sign, but you do get guys who don't.
