Today's side hustle school story is all about two friends who create a multi-cultural

0:13.2

masterpiece in Boston, launching a four-profit art space. This business was formed out

0:18.2

of a need for more diverse and inclusive spaces that feature art for recreation.

0:23.0

Now what is art for recreation? Well there are these things called paint parties. You're

0:27.2

not familiar with paint parties. Well I guess that's what I'm going to tell you about here in the

0:30.1

episode. I think we featured one a long time ago. I'll have to look it up. It was all about

0:34.3

1:07.5

But the alternative is to look for an idea that's already validated effectively saving yourself

1:11.6

a big step. So in this case the two people I'll tell you about kind of knew that this was a thing.

1:16.0

They knew that if they could figure out some variables there would be demand for it. So it was all

1:20.0

about how do I figure out those logistics, how do I make it happen. And as I said how to adjust

1:23.9

to complications for the rise along the way. So Boston friends create multicultural masterpiece

1:29.0

coming right up. Victoria Downs and Taneca Johnson are two friends living in Boston.

1:44.5

Although they both work full-time jobs, they've also dabbled in money-making ventures in the past.

1:49.5

Victoria had a successful hustle selling shapeutter and Taneca sold custom jewelry and cupcakes.
