And Rebecca Pittman is the best-selling author in a number of genres, including true crime.

And she's going to discuss a murder case currently making headlines.

In fact, it's the subject of a mini-series starring Renee Zellwiger.

And the topic of her new book on the serial killer Pam Hupp.

Rebecca Pittman is, as I say, a best-selling author in several genres.

Her popular history and haunting series of books have been spotlighted on various TV radio and podcast forms.

She's a former TV talk show host, a muralist, an escape room owner, a game creator, a runway model who finds mysteries irresistible.

And she is the author of Countdown to Murder, Pam Hupp, Death, Insured, the history and haunting of the Stanley Hotel, the history and haunting of the murderous plantation, the history and haunting of Lemp Mansion, Lizzie Borden, the history and haunting of Salem, the witch trials and beyond.

Well, after that introduction, my head's not going to fit through the door, but I'm fine. Thank you.

Well, you've done all those things. You've accomplished a lot and that's an escape room owner. And those are all the rage now, aren't they?

They are incredibly popular. They're fun to create, but they're very tricky to create because you have to get everything to fit under an hour.

But I enjoy anything that's puzzles and clues.

Well, and true crime often is. As a kid growing up, I was a huge fan. I absolutely loved a Colombo with Peter Fock, one of my favorite programs.

So let's talk about the murder of Betsy Faria. This was back in 2011 in Missouri.

And it's funny because on the surface, well, we'll get into the details here, but it almost seemed like an open and shut case, not against a husband, Russ Faria, but the person who was ultimately charged with crime.

But we'll get into all of that and what went wrong with the court, the defense, and so forth.
