On a sweltering summer’s day in the mid-1950s a pair of friends and their children decided to beat the heat by taking a dip in the cool depths of the Ohio River. Little could they have anticipated that this routine midsummer outing would transform into a living nightmare resulting in life or death struggle that none of them would ever forget.
