Summary

In 2015, Jason Piccolo worked on the DHS Human Smuggling Cell to counter the illicit human smuggling trade, including the unending flow of unaccompanied migrant children. An email that showed how the U.S. government handed over 3,600 kids to verified criminals left Jason asking his leadership answers - answers he never received. The top leaders at DHS knew this and did absolutely nothing. After being stonewalled multiple times, Jason became a whistleblower and exposed how children under ten were being put in danger.
