Summary
What does it mean to take delight in the everyday duties of motherhood? Emily Jensen, co-founder of Risen Motherhood and co-author of the book of the same name, knows firsthand how challenging motherhood can be. A disordered view of motherhood would tell us that the sacrifice it takes isn't worth it and that we need to escape in order to recharge. Emily proposes instead that the mundane, self-sacrificial design of motherhood is actually where the beauty is found. Weariness is real, but motherhood is rewarding.
