Welcome to Marvel Studios News. My name is Sean Gerber. I will be joined momentarily by my co-host Paul Herman

for episode 82 of our show, which was going to be about The Eternals, but turns out I was the only one who did the

reading so you can join me in berating Paul once the show gets started but don't

worry we will be talking about the eternals very soon and that just gives a little bit of

extra time for all of you to catch up on the reading especially if you have Marvel Unlimited

we're mainly going to be talking about Jack Kirby's original eternal stuff as well as Neil Gaiman's

eternally series so all of that stuff is available on Marvel Unlimited if you have that

subscription service or if you feel like it you can pick up the trades or

whatever it is you want to do but we will be

talking about that very soon instead this week we are going to be talking about

fandom something that has pretty much become a bad word now because it's almost always brought up in a

negative context when we're talking about bad things that are happening and we'll

be taking a look at Star Wars fandom at and DC fandom because over the past few years we've certainly seen a lot of

division amongst those groups which we haven't quite seen amongst marble

fandom which is not to say there haven't been trolls or people who've acted amongst Marvel not, but just the way we've seen people within the fan base be so divided for Star Wars

and D.C. we haven't quite seen it on the same level within Marvel and we of course hope

we don't see it and hope we stop seeing it for for DC and Star Wars

because Paul and I are also fans of both but anyway we're just going to get into that and

talk about what's going on and how we feel about it and how we hope a lot of this

stuff stops and then also never really bleeds into our

community of of Marvel fans but before we get into this week's conversation I
