And I think the reason I operated in a very transactional way in my life is because I was dealing with a lot of pain or not dealing with it.

So I was very much living as a survivor would, which is just one foot in front of the other, and I was letting life drive me, and I was passing a lot of time.

When I really think back about it,

I passed a lot of time,

luckily doing things that people approved of

or that had some kind of purpose inadvertently or had some kind of stature inadvertently,

but I wasn't consciously making those choices.

So it wouldn't land on me that I was living in paradise or it wouldn't land on me that I was doing a job that other people would strive to do.

And maybe that sounds almost silly, but that's really what I think about it. My pain stopped me from appreciating the path that I was on. Hello it's Light Watkins and we are back with another episode of at the end of the tunnel.
