Hey guys, this is Sam Fold, and this is episode 82 of the Victor Prep Vocal Podcast.

As always, let's get started by reviewing the previous words, so yesterday's words. We had Belfry, abeyance, substantiate and eschew, or eschew,

So let's start with Belfry.

Belfry is the part of a bell tower or steeple in which bells are housed. So pretty simple there.

Abbiance. Abbiance is a state of temporary disuse or suspension. So you could say the game was held in abeyance.

All right, gang, so it's Wednesday and it's time to start on our new words this is episode 82 and

Our first word is welter spelled W-E-L-T-E-R. And don't confuse this word with welt, because a welt is basically a raised part of the skin you get when you've been hit.
