I was thinking about our next guest that we're going to have on today and

something that I participate in every single year and I was giving it a lot of thought this

morning and it's the ride of the Patriots that's coming up here at Patriot Harley Davidson on Sunday, May 26,

which is Memorial Day weekend.

I've always said to people no matter where my travels take me with radio.

I'll come back to Washington, D.C DC for Memorial Day weekend and specifically the month of May because it's an awesome site

It's just amazing between the law ride and the officer down memorial that they have downtown and all of the events that go on in this city,

May is my favorite month to be in Washington, D.C.

But my favorite weekend in our city is Memorial Day weekend.

And a few years ago, when I started riding back in 2005,

I had the pleasure of getting involved with the ride of the Patriots and I didn't get it.

I didn't get Rolling Thunder. I didn't know what it was all about. I would watch it like many of you watch it on the news and you would see the motorcycles and you would see them rolling along and then

when I participated it took one time and I understood what it was all about.

And I understood that it's one of the best things you can participate in if you're a writer.

And I'll tell you why. I think there are a lot of people like myself

who never had the honor and the privilege of serving in the United States military and
