I am convening our book club, and yeah, it's that book club.

It's the awards book club, where we are going to read all of the novels nominated for best novel in the Hugo and Nebula awards. We're starting with

three nebula nominees. And at the end of the show, I'll tell you what our next three books are.

In this episode, we're going to be talking about wearing the lion by John Wiswell,

Catabasis by R.F. Kwong, and Death of the Author by Nendi Akorafor. So study up or something.

But we'll give you advance notice in the future. Let me introduce my panel, the people who are

walking on this journey with me. We will start with Paul Weamer. Paul, welcome back.

now I am part of the book club again at the incomparable.

I'm very happy about that because I love to talk about books, as everyone knows.

but mostly and most importantly, books, books, books. Yes, a member of the book club reading of the

books. Also here, a nominee for the award as my favorite person to do Star Trek

podcast with it. Scott McNulty. Hello. I can't believe I lost that again. I know. That's too bad.

Dan Warren just keeps winning those awards and I don't even do a podcast with him. He thinks it's Star Wars,

but you know, it's Star Trek. It's Star Trek.
