doing all right wherever you happen to be. Today on the program, my guest is Charmaine Craig, author of a new novel

called My Nemesis. Rivalry between women is one of those subjects that I think culturally were

more comfortable referring to it as, oh yeah, that mean girl phenomenon or, you know, catfight.

The reality is, I think most women would agree from a very early age.

I mean, just look at little girls and how easy it is for girls to feel hurt by one another

and how easy it is for power dynamics to sort of happen,

even, again, on the playground, third, fourth, fifth grade, it starts.

Does she think I'm wearing the right thing?

Am I too attractive?

Does she feel threatened by me?

Am I trying too hard?

Am I, there's all these little dynamics that every woman I've
